Do you think that building an African Descent Radio in Canada is so important?
Hon. Greg Fergus
Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada.
Telling our stories in the way that we can only tell them, the way that our families understand them. It is a wonderful thing that we have now with the advent of podcasting, the advent of the internet. We are able to make sure that we tell these stories, we have a market for them, people want to hear it, and now it’s really accessible.
This is the reason why Mutcho African radio is so important.

Guy Djoken

I think the role of this mucho african radio is actually critical because it’s one of the ways that we can address all many challenges.
Knowing our culture is the best way for us to live a fulfilling life and this Mutcho radio it’s actually answered that question.
I think it’s very critical to have an African radio.

Henry Akanko

Having a dedicated radio where day and night african descent can find news and music from where they come from, is important.
We don’t have a media coast to coast that unites our communities.
Mutcho radio It’s longer than it is.

Yusuf Shire
President of N.B. African Association
We do need to be able to tell our own story our way, and I agree that an African radio is important to learn from one another.
We need our radio station, channels, and ways to be able to share our stories.
